This is what happens when I don't have tinternet access in work.  No updates.

 

Back off work again so on the job hunt.  Need the monies now baby, no choice.

 

So glad it's finally getting sunny again.  The cold was getting a little boring.

Honestly, some people.  Just because they think its fun to go running when its minus 2 and not even dawn.  That's not fun - its torture!

 

Poxy IT people have cocked up the entire NHS wales server system thingy so yet again, no work.  Hard life.

 

I'm looking forward to St Pauls - as long as I can stop for a fag half way up don't think it'll be a problem x

So basically I need at least seven hours sleep to not turn into my mother in the morning.  See, easy done!  Woke up with smile on my face and no grump this morning and I didn't have to go to bed before dark either.  God, I can be stubborn sometimes!  (Thinking of quoting me on that one? Don't)

 

Monday, ew.  Boss man is back so Alt+Tab are getting their money's worth this morning.  Have no work - because I was soo brilliant on Friday I finished it all - and having trouble looking busy without playing freecell!

 

Walk in the woods yesterday was good. Legs aching a bit this morning, not complaining we had fun.  Want to do Brecon sometime soon but if I tried it now I'd probably collapse and need to be rolled back to the car.  Hence the short walks for the time being.  There is muscle on my legs, honest guv, it's just happily buried under the outer coating.

 

London Friday.  Vey excited, want to go shopping in Camden and climb St Pauls, and show the boy Soho and see the bits he knows and find somewhere good to go out (all suggestions greatly appreciated) and then ruin the hotel room and come home Saturday.

 

Elle I promise this Sunday we will play badminton and go ice skating if you want to.  (You can quote me on that one x)

Friday again thank god.  Lie in this morning much needed and appreciated.  Woke up with a smile on my face and everything!

 

Got Uncle (?) Ron's 86th(?) tonight. As far as I know he's one of the old whisky drinkers who gets kinda doddery at family do's.  Go for an hour, avoid Auntie Jackie and try not to get into the whole overexcited wedding nonsense.  This is where I'm different from the boy.  Think he quite likes the attention - I can't stand it.  Know its only people being happy for me, but limelight + me = see why I want to get married in siberia or alaska...

 

Had no work to do for two days cos the poxy IT dept couldn't find their arses with both hands and the rac.com. Of course now it's friday afternoon and I want to mess about playing tetris for the next two hours, everything works and I have two very very very full inboxes.  Grr, oh well least it'll go quickly.

Got told yesterday that my blog makes me sound old and tired!! Charming.  Unfortunately its fairly accurate.

 

So grumpy in the mornings again - I've always been like this in winter, find it so hard to wake up and I'm almost always really ratty when I do.  Have tried so many things to wake up cheerful and so far the only thing that works is forcing myself to smile.  Doesn't really work though - so easy to crack.  I'm easy going and happy the rest of the time, can take a joke, don't mind everyone else's mood swings so basically very tolerant.  Six am totally different person.  Elle's had several smacks for waking me up & the dreaded ex thought using a smoke alarm would be funny!! He did have the sense to do it from the other side of the room or he'd have lost at least one limb.

 

The boy is amazing with me, really quiet and understanding, but its taking its toll.  Not good way to start the day.

 

Lunchtime baby yeah!

Bored.  Want to go home.  No work to do.  Getting paid to play solitaire gets boring surprisingly quickly.

 

No more drinking for me for a while.  Felt like crap all day Sunday, just cos I started in the pub in a bad mood.  If I start drinking with a certain head on I end up on a mission and it's not pretty.  Also very very bored with hangovers - feel like as soon as I get over one I start on the next.  Ick.  Thing is I do know when to stop - it was just the mission head. 

 

Feels like I've been in work about fifteen years today. Had enough, not funny anymore.  Only twenty minutes to go and it's going so slowly.  Taking away my will to rant.

 

Movie tonight - Donnie Darko, Godfather Pt II or Edward Scissorhands?  Answers on a postcard please.
